Court’s Verdict in a Decade-Old Crime The Karkardooma Court in Delhi has sentenced four convicts, including two women, to 20 years of imprisonment in a brutal case involving abduction, gang rape, illegal confinement, causing hurt, and criminal intimidation . The case, which dates back to 2015 , exposed a horrifying scheme where the victim was deceived under the pretext of a job offer but was instead kidnapped with the intent to be sold. Details of the Crime and FIR Registration The victim was abducted on August 3, 2015 , and taken to Badaun, Uttar Pradesh after being misled by the convicts on the promise of employment. Their true intent was to sell her elsewhere. However, through sheer determination, the victim managed to escape from her confinement in a village in Badaun district .
