The high-stakes Delhi Assembly Election 2025 campaign has officially concluded, with all three major contenders—BJP, AAP, and Congress—making their final push to sway voters. From EVM tampering allegations to security measures, from Yamuna pollution debates to corruption charges, the capital has witnessed an intense political battle over the last few weeks.

As Delhi gears up to vote on February 5, security has been heightened, and the Election Commission of India (ECI) is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a free and fair election.


Delhi Police and ECI’s Security Measures Ahead of Polls 🚔👮‍♂️

To maintain law and order, Delhi Police conducted flag marches, warning against any attempt to influence voters or engage in electoral malpractices.

🔹 Special CP Madhup Tiwari assured that strict action would be taken against those trying to disrupt the polling process.
🔹 West Delhi DCP Vichitra Veer confirmed that authorities are keeping an eye on anti-social elements to ensure a smooth election.
🔹 Special CP Ravindra Yadav warned against EVM tampering, asserting that armed police and paramilitary forces are securing the voting machines.

7,500 complaints were registered, leading to 2,780 FIRs.
₹220 crore worth of seizures took place to curb illegal cash flow.

To facilitate smooth polling, ECI has deployed:
1.8 lakh personnel, including police, paramilitary, and polling staff.
220 paramilitary companies and 35,600 Delhi Police officers.
11 District Election Officers, 70 Returning Officers, and 232 Assistant Returning Officers.

In his final address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a direct dig at the AAP government, alleging that:

🔹 Delhi schools limit students' progress beyond Class 9 to protect pass percentage statistics.
🔹 The Yamuna river pollution crisis was mismanaged by AAP, and AAP’s attempt to blame Haryana was an act of political scapegoating.
🔹 He urged voters to choose BJP for the next five years, stating that AAP has failed to deliver on its promises.
